Asian/Pacific Island Nursing Journal Sees Strong Rise in 2024 CiteScore Rankings

(June 10, 2025) JMIR Publications is proud to announce that the Asian/Pacific Island Nursing Journal, which is the official journal of the Asian American/Pacific Islander Nurses Association (AAPINA) has achieved a notable improvement in the 2024 Scopus CiteScore update, advancing to Q2 (68%, 3/8) in the General Nursing category.

This upward movement signals growing recognition for the journal’s contributions to culturally grounded, community-informed nursing research that supports the health and well-being of Asian and Pacific Islander populations globally. The progress reflects both the journal’s expanding impact and its alignment with JMIR Publications’ broader vision to promote inclusive, evidence-based research.

We extend our congratulations to Editor-in-Chief Dr. Hyochol Brian Ahn, along with the editorial board, authors, and peer reviewers, whose ongoing efforts have helped shape this achievement.
